XW-3005 epoxy rust primer for container

Uses and features:

This paint is a new type of anti-rust primer that can be used on the steel surface of containers with thin rust. It can be directly used for corrosion protection on rusty (rust layer below 60μm), slightly oily, damp steel surfaces and steel surfaces that have been simply derusted. It can not only form a phosphating film on the metal surface to inhibit the development of rust, but also turn the rust layer into a beneficial component in the paint film. It also has the function of replacing the water film. When applied on a damp and slightly oily surface, part of the water will be drained during the application, and the other part of the water will evaporate together with the solvent when the paint film solidifies.

Main agent: curing agent = 6:1, stir evenly, add 15-25% epoxy diluent, and apply by high-pressure airless spray, brush or roller.

Surface treatment:

Steel surface treatment is carried out in accordance with the national standard "Rust level and rust removal level of steel surface before painting" GB8923-88. Sandblasting rust removal reaches the national standard Sa2.5 level, and manual rust removal reaches St3 level.

Notes:

1. The paint should be placed in a low temperature, ventilated and dry place; away from fire and heat sources; stored in a cool and dry place with a shelf life of one year.
