Note:

1. Drying time and complete curing time refer to the experiment in natural seawater, and the temperatures shown are all water temperatures.

2. Adhesion and hardness refer to the values measured after immersion in seawater for 7 days and natural drying for 48 hours.

Surface treatment:

First, use a wire brush, steel shovel, etc. to remove surface marine organisms, rust and old paint film. Manual and power tools can be used for surface treatment. Painting must be started immediately after treatment, otherwise marine organisms will attach and rust will return.

Underwater painting:

On the construction ship or on the shore, prepare the paint according to the prescribed ratio of A: B = 13:1. If used for plugging, the diver wearing rubber gloves will apply a certain force to the plugged leak, or evenly apply the prepared paint on the surface of the polyethylene film, then stick it to the repair surface, and apply the film underwater to squeeze out the water on the interface. These two methods should squeeze out as many blisters and bubbles as possible. If anti-corrosion coating is applied, for regular steel surfaces, the prepared coating can be evenly scraped on fiberglass bandages or canvas and other linings, and then a certain force is applied to adhere it to the painted surface, squeeze out the water, and fix the surface until it solidifies. This method ensures that the coating is flat and uniform, and there is less waste of coating; for irregular surfaces, brushing or scraping is used, and the surface water is squeezed out by the squeezing effect of a hard brush or rubber scraper, so that the coating adheres to the steel surface.

1. The paint should be placed in a low temperature, ventilated, and dry place; away from fire and heat sources; stored in a cool and dry place with a shelf life of one year.
