Product

XW-3308 Heavy Anticorrosion Sealing Primer for Marine Reinforced Concrete

Composition and performance:

Two-component heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating composed of special epoxy resin, modifier, imported additives, organic solvent and special cross-linking agent

The paint film has good resistance to seawater, fresh water, acid, alkali and salt; it has excellent permeability, sealing, adhesion and long-term protection performance on the surface of porous concrete substrate, and has wet curing performance

Application:

Applicable to the closed anti-corrosion coating of reinforced concrete and cement products under marine climate conditions, such as: anti-corrosion coating of the outer surfaces of coastal docks, coastal cement construction facilities, bridge piers, dams and buildings.

Note:

Theoretically, the surface must be clean before this product can be applied. The theoretical coating rate is based on the surface being just saturated.

Substrate treatment:

Use electric tools or steel scrapers to remove loose mortar, debris and surface adhesion on the reinforced concrete surface, and use matching mortar or putty to fill defects such as honeycombs on the concrete surface and remove oil stains on the surface. Finally, rinse the concrete surface with clean water. The pH value of the treated surface should be 6.8-8.0. The treated surface needs to be dried for 2-3 days in a well-ventilated environment with a relative humidity of less than 65% and a temperature of about 20°C to ensure that the surface is clean, tidy and flat.

Coating requirements:

1. After surface treatment, concrete components should be kept clean and dry (surface moisture content less than 4%) and anti-corrosion primer should be applied in time.

2. Concrete components can generally be painted after 30 days of maintenance.

3. Brushing, rolling and spraying can be used for construction.

4. The interval between coating is generally controlled within 24 hours. If the interval is too long, it is recommended to roughen the surface to be coated before re-coating.

Notes:

1. The paint should be placed in a low temperature, ventilated and dry place; away from fire and heat sources; stored in a cool and dry place with a shelf life of one year.

2. The above information is written based on the actual testing and use experience of our technical personnel, and can be used as a construction guide. However, due to the difference between the coating environment and the supporting plan, it is recommended that users conduct experiments and tests in advance according to actual needs and uses before confirming use. The company only guarantees the quality and stability of this product itself.
