On June 22nd, the first “Corrosion Prevention Salon on New Materials for Pile Driven Offshore Photovoltaic” was held in Gaomi City, Shandong Province, hosted by Yuan Yin Institute of Industrial Research and co-organized by Shandong Furi Xuanwei New Material Technology Co. The seminar brought together top experts, scholars and enterprise representatives to discuss key technical issues in the field of offshore photovoltaic.

Offshore photovoltaic in the demand for clean energy to promote the rapid development, but the marine environment of the material corrosion problem has become a key constraint on its stability and long-term development. At the beginning of the conference, Mr. Wang Baogui, Director of the New Energy Engineering Design Institute, delivered a speech, describing the policy motivations, core values and challenges faced by offshore PV corrosion protection. In the interactive exchange session, the participating experts had an in-depth exchange of views on hot issues such as specification development, coating application and maintenance market of offshore PV. The wonderful Q&A sessions by experts such as General Manager Li Guangjun and Prof. Li Shaoxiang provided the industry with valuable opinions and suggestions. General Manager Li Guangjun called on the industry to strengthen cooperation and work together to formulate standardized industry standards and green procurement standards in order to achieve sustainable development of the industry.
